The International Exhibition of Food and Drinks, Packaging, Machines and Technologies is the most representative forum of food industry in Bulgaria. “Foodtech” is a preferred platform for manufacturers and traders offering delicious and healthy high quality products. Expositions of technologies, equipment and materials are an essential part of the exhibition. Technology zone

            The 26th edition of the exhibition continues the initiative to expand the technology zone due to the increased demand for equipment for the food industry. A separate pavilion has been assigned for demonstration of raw material processing, sorting, packaging and labeling techniques. In this way a complete panorama of innovation in the food industry is created.  

City of Wine and Delicacies

            “Foodtech” occupies growing territory in the City of Wine and Delicacies. There are areas in it for exhibitions, demonstrations, presentations and master classes, Gourmet salon, recreation areas, press center. The unique platform for the joint presentation of culinary specialties and wine elixirs is attracting an increasing number of exhibitors and tens of thousands of visiting specialists are impressed by the fascinating world of food and beverages.

            “Foodtech” is part of the only forum on the Balkans for agriculture, wine, food and equipment together with the prestigious exhibitions “Agra” for agriculture, “Vinaria” for vine growing and wine producing and “Tastes of Italy”. They demonstrated last generation technologies, equipment, products and services across the entire chain from field to table. The forum offers an effective platform for business and advertising as it attracts thousands of specialists. About 700 companies from over 30 countries take part in it every year.

Exhibitors are granted the following discounts*:

  • From the rental price for declared net covered exhibition area:

1.         9-20m2 - 5 %

2.         21-40m2 - 8 %

3.         41-60m2 - 14 %

4.         over 60m2 - 25 %

  • For consecutive participation in the International Exhibition “Foodtech”
  • For 5 or more consecutive years (2015–2019) – 10%  of the rent for the area

* The exhibitor has the right to use one of the listed discounts of his choice.


  • Upon payment of 100% of the value of the requested services by 5 December 2019 the exhibitor receives a 5% discount on the amount paid.



International Fair Plovdiv rents covered and/or open exhibition area – stand/bungalow with standard construction or non-standard custom-made stands. 

To hire a stand/bungalow it is necessary to fill in Form 3.  

Gallery – non-standard custom-made stand:

The rent of a stand/bungalow includes also:

  • general security, common electricity and water costs, cleaning of common areas, use of infrastructure, waste disposal;
  • a certain number of entrance cards for exhibitors and cars;
  • inclusion in the catalog and information system (company address, telephone number, fax number, email, Internet address, up to 2 branches and up to 50 characters text information), publishing in the exhibitors' online catalog and weekly updating of the information in the catalog.

The rental price does not include water connection and water consumption, which are ordered and paid for in addition.

            The business partners of the exhibitors get free access to the event after registration in the database of the visitors of International Fair Plovdiv. 

  • For this purpose the exhibiting company will receive an invitation from the fair (in pdf format), which they need to send to their potential visitors.
