GOLD MEDAL AND DIPLOMA Awarding Competition
Application

Participation termsAdmitted to the Gold Medal and Diploma Awarding Competition are exhibits in fullscale production, displayed at the fair by companies registered as exhibitors in the Fair Information System.

Main criteria for the assessment of exhibits participating in the Competition

• Indicators of safety, harmlessness and environmental suitability and power efficiency (proven by a written statement of an accredited laboratory or a certificate), labeling, declaration of conformity.
• Indicators of functionality and reliability (proven by a written statement of an authorized laboratory or a certificate)
• Warranty period, maintenance
• Automation rate and application of new materials and technologies
• Packaging and export readiness
• Design
• Patent protection

DESIGN COMPETITONS
(Application)

The competitions are organized by The National Association of Design and Advertising – Sofia with the cooperation of International Fair Plovdiv AD and are divided into the following categories:

• Exhibition Design – for design of stands and bungalows
• Package Design – for structural (spatial) design and graphic design with promotion and information functions of the package
• Industrial Design – for design of products and equipment for full-scale production

The jury of the three competitions comprises professional designers and specialists from the National Association of Design and Advertising, IZA Art and lecturers in design from various institutes.

The grand award winners are presented an award sculpture “Crystal Tetrahedron” and a diploma and the runners-up are presented diplomas. The designers of the awarded products are also presented diplomas.

The design competitions awards are recognition of the high quality and prestige of the products and an opportunity of their promotion.
