International Fair Plovdiv organizes for the second time the Business Consulting event.

After the EU accession, Bulgarian companies are facing the challenge to operate under the conditions of intense competition, more dynamic markets and higher standards. In the context of this new environment, businesses have to find the mechanisms for the fastest integration in the developed economies of the European countries, and Bulgaria has to catch up with them in terms of infrastructure and standard of living.

Achieving these objectives is in the focal point of the seven EU operational programmes for funding Bulgarian municipalities and companies. They will benefit from the complete absorption of EU funds by increasing the competitiveness of the companies and accelerating regional development. Therefore, consulting companies providing models and tools that facilitate the optimization of business performance and the implementation of various projects, play an important role in this process and in the entire modernization of Bulgarian economy as well.

The Bulgarian entrepreneurs gradually overcome their skeptical attitude towards the use of consulting services, regarded as a needless luxury until recently, and now this market is rapidly expanding. However, further efforts are needed for establishing the culture of seeking expert help and stimulating the development of this business activity, which is one of the newest sectors of the world economy.
