The Fairground in Plovdiv is a modern exhibition venue, situated on an area of 352,000 sq. m. The exhibition space totals approx. 159,100 sq. m, the indoor area is 64,500 sq. m, while the outdoor area amounts to 94,600 sq. m.

The exhibition complex comprises 17 multifunctional exhibition pavilions, designed to display any exhibits. The pavilions are of different size and configuration, equipped with escalators, heating and air-conditioning, lifts, audio systems, electricity and water supply, telephone and facsimile communications, and all facilities required for a successful exhibition participation. Business offices with modern equipment are also available in some of the pavilions.

The International Congress Centre comprises eight state-of-the-art multi-purpose halls with a seating capacity ranging from 20 to 550 seats. Further 12 conference halls are available in the exhibition pavilions, thus increasing the total seating capacity to 2,500. For hosting major events, some pavilions can be specially equipped to provide seats for 2,000 persons.

The modern Press Centre facilitates the contacts of companies with journalists, the presentation of new products, technologies or other activities. Exhibitors and visitors may use the comfortable restaurant, cafés, and catering facilities in the pavilions. The first of its kind National Oenotheque is set up at the Fairgrounds to store some of the best samples of the Bulgarian wines.
