Businesses to Showcase Innovative Ideas at the Autumn Fair 2014

Companies are eager to employ advanced technologies and introduce in the market products that are affordable and easily applicable in different sectors of industry and everyday life. That is to be seen at the exhibition stands of the International Technical Fair. The 70th anniversary edition of the forum is providing a platform for innovative ideas outlining the development prospects of many industry sectors.

The largest business forum of investment goods and technologies in Southeast Europe, organized by Bulgaria's national exhibition centre, is the focal point for leading companies active in industries such as machine building, construction, power engineering, ecology, electronics and electrical engineering, IT, chemical and mining industries, transport and auto service equipment.

On display at the International Technical Fair 2014 are 30 novelties, including 13 worldwide innovative products. Gold medals for high-quality innovative products are to be awarded within the framework of the forum and they are recognized as the most prestigious market award in Bulgaria.

There is a growing interest from foreign companies in Bulgaria as a promising destination for import of technologies and equipment. These expectations are based on the need to upgrade and modernize the production facilities and the opportunity to speed up that process through EU funding. The presentation of the Bulgarian companies is also on the rise.

"The Autumn Fair 2015 turned out to be a very good exhibition event against the general decline in interest in trade fairs in Southeast Europe. Throughout the region, a certain outflow of exhibitors is visible, because major companies, having established their presence in that particular market, are now showing only their latest products, which are not so many as in the years before the crisis", commended Ivan Sokolov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of International Fair Plovdiv.

Within the duration of the International Technical Fair 2014:

  • European Mining Business Forum
  • Green Energy Days
  • Seminar on EU Funds for Bulgaria. Programming Period 2014-2020
